Yummie Christmas candy

Christmas candy
I always make these for Christmas ever since one of my best friends teached me how to make them. Addictive and easy to make: almonds covered with soft nougat dipped into a mix of cocoa and cinnamon…

For a cup like in the photo above I used:

  • 1 1/2 dl sweet almonds
  • 250 g nougat
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder

1.Toast the almonds on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes in the oven (200 degrees)
2.Leave the almonds to cool
3.In a small bowl, mix cocoa powder and cinnamon
4.Wrap each almond in a thin layer of the nougat and roll them in the cocoa-cinnamon mixture
5.Store the almonds with nougat in the refrigerator and serve them chilled
