Le Marché de Noël des Champs-Elysées 2013

Le Marché de Noël des Champs-Elysées 2013Le Marché de Noël des Champs-Elysées 2013, the Christmas markets of Champs-Elysée in Paris attracts over 16 million visitors, both residents and tourists during the six weeks it’s held along the avenue of Champs-Elysées. It is very commercial, and I found myself in it while browsing myself up to Champs-Elysée after a visit at Grand Palais a couple of weeks ago.In the many wooden chalets that are lined on each side of the avenue you can find everything from gifts to typical Christmas food.

I love Christmas markets, but prefer the more authentic ones where you can find artisan and food products. I have always wanted to visit Alsace, the home of Christmas traditions, and given the fact I live in France I think I will put it on my list to visit during the Christmas holidays next year ;-)
