When being out in the field on a photographic session you need to have quick access to your camera lens filters. After two photo trips I learned, having a filter in their original case was not optimal. Later I was introduced to a filter bag from the Portugese brand, Terrascape, and I completely fell in love with it after the first use on the field. As I like to share my opinion on products I’m pleased with I have prepared a review. It’s been with me on my travels to Portugal, Cinque Terre and the Golf of the Poets in Italy, Normandy and Brittany in France, in Iceland and lately in Ireland. With other words, I’ve enough of experience to write my conclusion.
The bag I’ve been using is no longer for sale on Terrascape’s website. However there is an upgraded and improved version of it called Filter Bag Classic which I had sent to me not long ago. I will therefore focus on the benefits of the later bag in this review.

Filter bag
The filter bag I have reviewed in this article is called Classic. Terrascape work closely with photographers and make sure to take their feedback into account when improving their products.
The Terrascape Classic is the standard size filter bag that is available in the serie of filter bag that Terrascape offers. I can easily keep my squared ND (100x100mm), GND (100x150mm) , my filter holder and the remote shutter release.

The filter bag has two compartments, a main compartment intended for the filters and a small one where you can keep your filter holder. There is also a mesh bag where you can keep your remote shutter release and a cleaning cloth. In the main compartment there is a removable storage made of honeycomb and sponge material holding up to eleven filters. It has white tags where you can write the type of the filter making it easier to find it.
The bag is the best friend of any seascape photographer as its outer lining is made of waterproof nylon. Its practical to carry around, either on the shoulder or the belt and strap for the tripod useful when you are on the field.

Conclusion
Before chosing the bag from Terrescape I remember I looked on filter bags from different brands comparing them. I didn’t find any that was even close to the bag Terrascape offers.
The main strengths of the filter bag from Terrascape is that its compact, made of high quality materials protecting your filters, extremily practical for both squared ND and GND filters, and have a genius rubber loop where you can attach your remote shutter release while you take your photo and the fact that you can easily attach the bag on your tripod.
I truly recommend the bag to any landscape photographer that wish to carry their filters in a small, practical and protective filter bag.
