Breakfast at Hôtel Napoléon Paris

Hôtel Napoléon Paris

Breakfast in bed in a suite with a view over the majestic l’Arc de Triomphe? As a guest at Hôtel Napoléon Paris, not only you’ll have l’Arc de Triomphe as your neighbour, if you’re into shopping, you have Avenue des Champs-Élysées almost right under your feets, or why not stroll towards the 17th arrondissement and take in the local life? The beautiful Parc Monceau is just a few minutes away!
Two weeks ago I was invited to be the guest of one night at Hôtel Napoléon together with my friend Anna. I have lots of memories from this area, first one, when my sister was living in Paris she was living at Avenue Friedland, as the matter of fact just right in front of Hôtel Napoléon. So when I was visiting her I remember how we watched the sun set behing l’Arc de Triomphe, always magical. Years later I moved to Paris and lived at Avenue Carnot, one of the avenues leading to Place d’Etoile. I couldnt be closer to the impressive l’Arc de Triomphe and every single morning and evening I loved enjoying the sunrise and sunsets fr the balcony of the apartment. I simply couldn’t get enough of that view…

Memories came back to life again. It was pure luxury to leave work and check-in to this 5-star hotel in the heart of Paris. After a hectic week before where I had travelled between five different countries this treat was well-needed. A bottle of champagne was waiting for us on the table when we arrived but we saved it for the morning to have a glass on the terrace. The room was quite spacious with a big bathroom with toiletries fr l’Occitane en Provence with essence of natural flowers and plants. A chocolate chip from Jean-Paul Hévin was waiting on the pillow..perhaps for giving sweet dreams?[pullquote width=”300″ float=”left”]Stunning rooftop view[/pullquote]
In the morning we went for the breakfast buffet where you could find everything from freshly baked croissants, pains aux chocolat, brioche, baguette, different jams, cheese, yoghurt, fruit salad and many other things you would expect fr a hotel breakfast. We had our breakfast quite early, in fact already short after 7h in order to make it up to the terrace of one of their suites to catch the sunrise <3 It was magical! Together with a bottle of chilled champagne we celebrated this morning getting to enjoy the sunrise from this unique spot with a stunning rooftop view. I definately wouldn’t mind having that view everyday, so I fully understand the guests who opts for their suites with the amazing views.
In the evening we returned for a lighter dinner, Anna had a Ceasar salad while I had their smoked salmon fr Petrossian with a few toasts and a juice fr Alain Milliat. If you scroll down and take a look on the photo while we have our dinner you’ll also notice a small jar of honey that I got as a gift fr the hotel, its their own honey! The have bee hives on their rooftops ;-) They don’t get any big quantity of honey but they use what they have in their hotel kitchen.
Everything fr our check-in to check-out went smooth and the staff was friendly and service-minded. With only 51 rooms and 51 suites I understand that guests like the intime atmosphere and thats they return. Or perhaps to live in a lovestory..did you know that’s the background of this hotel? A Russian businessman, Alexandre Pavlovich Kliaguine, gave this hotel as a wedding gift to his wife, and yet today, the hotel belongs to the family.[pullquote width=”300″ float=”right”]Stay in a hotel that once was a gift in a lovestory[/pullquote]

Why staying at Hôtel Napélon when visiting Paris? It’s right in the center of the city, nomatter at what airport you are arriving to, there are buses from both of them that stops near the l’Arc de Triomphe, a 5 minute walk fr the hotel, and you also have the RER A that connects to the Charles de Gaulle airport. There is also the fitness room that is open 24h and you got very good wifi in the entire hotel.
