paris-fait-son-cinemaSome Like It Hot – Certains l’aiment chaud

Food and Cinema is a great combo. Last Sunday, the community “Paris fait son cinéma”, was organizing a movie evening at Café de la Presse. Love events like that. Some Like it Hot with Marilyn Monroe and yummie food. Me and my friend went there at 18h in order to grab a table with a good view. However, when I finished my fishburger another friend called and needed me so I had to leave before the movie started and ended up at the hostel of God, yes, thats the name of the hospital translated into English, the oldest in Paris,  Hôtel-Dieu de Paris, sitting in the waiting room watching The Expendables 2 until midnight. Marilyn Monroe was replaced by Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham..not interesting at all…instead I practised my French with the guy working there. Pourquoi pas? Need to take advantage of every situation where I can speak French ;-) Btw, my friend is ok now and luckily there will be more Food and Cinema evenings in the future, once every month in fact!
