Haussmannien buildings

Boulevard Raspail
Last week I took a whole week off from work as holiday…destination? Paris! Not bad I already live here, isn’t ? My absence on my blog can easily be explained in that I was taking advantage of beeing free (out-of-office) in a less crowded Paris that it happens to be during weekdays. I planned my days from morning till late evenings, discovered new areas, visited various exhibitions…and ate lots of pastries!
One of the things I love most about Paris are the beautiful Haussmannien buildings you can see almost everywhere you turn your head. They look so majestic, with their sophisticated façades, grey rooftops and tiny wrought iron balconies filled with flowers and plants. And a perfect baby blue sky with a few fluffy clouds as a backdrop to these Haussmannien buildings is simply the cherry on top ;-)
