Hairdresser in Paris

Best hairdresser in Paris
It has been a while since visiting my hairdresser in Paris, last time was in September 2011 to be correct. I’ve wanted to go to him earlier since I moved back to Paris, but the time to settle down, changing apartment etc unfortunatly made me totally forget about my hair. But finally I took the time and called for a RDV. Ever since I left Paris a few years ago I have had a hard time finding someone that has taken good care of my hair as Christophe Monteiro, my hairdresser, so imagine how happy I was to finally have my hair treated by the best hairdresser in Paris.

I visited him a couple of days ago and just wanted my hairtips cut, and since I haven’t been to a hairdresser for more than one year (and been my own hairdresser for a while…not to recommend!) I thought he was going to cut at least 10 cm..but to my surprise only 2-3cm was enough to have all the damaged tips cut off :-) While inspecting the condition of my hair he recommended a protein and nourishing treatment that I gladly accepted. The result? Impressive ! I should have taken a before photo, but in these photos you can see how happy and bouncy my hair is after the treatment ! Now when Paris is finally my home again I will visit my hairdresser more regularly, next planned visit is already in April and I’m looking forward it. I’ve decided to never go light blonde again, I love my natural dark blonde color, but next time we discussed adding a few, thin highlights just to give some reflection in my hair….

As I’ve mentioned before, my hairdresser is not only very professional in creating perfect highlights, but he also look after your hair and propose you treatments that would benefit you rather than proposing the same solution for all his clients. Also what I like by going to him is that it’s his private saloon and he is the only one working there. No buzzy noise from other hairdressers and clients, the focus is 100% on you and your hair and a big plus is that he has a massage chair when shampooing your hair. So a visit is not only about giving a nice treatment to your hair but also having a moment of peace and relaxation.

Christophe Monteiro at Coiff1rst Salon Privé, 65, rue Charlot – call him first for a rendez-vous since it’s a private saloon at : 01 44 61 17 91
