Café Varenne Café Varenne is situated in the corner of Rue De Varenne and Rue Du Bac (my two favourite streets in Paris) and I’m blessed having this bistro as my neighbor! The staff has been welcoming since the very first time I went there (in September) , always smiling and the service is always on top! That gives me just more reasons going there often ;-)

Yesterday evening I had dinner there with my friend. Since my favoruite dish, the organic salmon is not anymore on their menu I tried their haddock. The haddock was perfectly prepared and was served on a bed of de puy lentilles. Already when we entered the bistro I had glanced on the counter to see what they had left for desserts and the tarte tatin looked excellent so I gave it a try. It was sweet and heavenly and a scoop of yummie caramel du sél ice cream from Le Bac à Glaces with crunchy caramel pieces was served together with the tarte.
