Baba Ispahan by Pierre Hermé

Baba Ispahan Pierre Hermé Baba Ispahan – a sublime pastry created by the Picasso of the pastry chefs, Pierre Hermé. I’m not so fond of the classic Baba au Rhum that is almost drenched in rum…but when Pierre Hermé has made a Baba with an Ispahan twist I cannot resist!
The dream team that creates the distinguished Ispahan flavor? Rose, litchi and raspberry…..a total bliss!

Let me introduce you to this wonderful piece of heaven, a small brioche soaked in syrup and eau-de-vie of wild the center of the brioche you’ll find fresh raspberries and litchis. Mascarpone cream and a red rose petal tops this delightful and very exquisite Baba Ispahan! Couldn’t have picked a better pastry for my birthday could I? ;-)
