Kicking out sinus infection with garlic

garlicIt’s really not the good moment, but I’ve been sick since Thursday. Have sinusitis and the pain from the pressure behind my eyes have been so awful that I thought my head was about to explode. I’m not into conventional medicines so in order to fight against this inflammation I’ve done several nasal irrigations with my nasal pot that you can see in the background on the photo above, I’ve also been eating lots of raw garlic and drinking lots of water and tea. Nasal irrigations is effective in order to relief the pressure and also promotes good nasal and sinus health. Garlic works as a natural antibiotic and kills the bacterias that are causing the infection. I must admit it’s not the most pleasant way of treating a sickness by smelling garlic, but I believe it’s the most effective and natural way.

Hopefully this cure of eating raw garlic and making nasal irrigations will make me recover very soon so that I can go to work on Monday. In less than two weeks I’m moving to Paris and I have lot’s of things at work to finish before leaving…with other words, no time to be sick.
