Bottega Della Pasta

Bottega della pastaBottega Della Pasta is the place where they serve fresh pasta in Torvehallerna, the food market in Copenhagen. As you all know I do my own fresh pasta, but it’s always nice with a change and sitting having fresh pasta at Bottega Della Pasta gives a bit of a genuine Italian touch to the whole experience. It’s an open kitchen where you have a view over the whole process, from the beginning when the pasta dough is made and put into the pasta machine and comes out in the chosen style and gets boiled and then mixed with some pesto (that is freshly made) or tomato sauce. That’s a fun experience for me who loves to have a sneak peak in the process of how my food is prepared and at the same time listening to when the owner speaks Italian with some of their regular customers – I think I’ve found my small piece of Italy here in Copenhagen :-)

I’ve been at Bottega Della Pasta several times and my favourite dish is the pasta called: troccoli (without egg) boiled al dente with pesto made on ramsons (wild garlic), very tasty and simply delicious!
