Våffeldagen (= Waffleday), is a special day and it’s celebrated today on March 25th! In Sweden we have a special day for waffles, how wonderful isn’t that? A day where we can endulge ourselves with waffles topped with whipped cream, berries jams etc in the morning, afternoon…and why not as a dessert after the dinner? Waffles all day long without guilty feelings ;-)

Unfortunately I won’t be having any waffles today (I know…poor me) and that reminds me that I need to ask my mom if she would agree giving her ancient waffle iron (in cast iron) to me :-)
