Louvre by night is definately a magical place to experience. I love the courtyard of Louvre, but on daytime it’s overcrowded with tourists (like almost any other historical attraction in Paris) …you can hardly walk from one point to another, or just sit and adore the magnific building. These things can instead be done during nighttime…when almost nobody is around and the charming lights are lit.
