Liberty

During my weekend in London I also visited the department store Liberty that is situated next to Regent Street. It’s hard to miss that beautiful Tudor revival building if you’re in the area….I had know idea it was constructed from timbers of two ships and that makes it more charming.

They have almost everything at Liberty‘s, they have kept on with their tradition for fashionable and eclectic design which I liked and they have a large collection of both contemporary and traditional designs. I think it’s good when new designers are promoted and discovering handcrafted work and other designprojects was quite fun and my favourite area was on the last level where they had vintage objects and antiques….if I would get lost at Liberty you would have found me up there ;-)

If you’re up for shopping or not I think Liberty is worth a visit, they’re very known for their imaginative and surreal window displays made by their own team of window dressers…and only that is worth going there.
