Cooling down in Notting Hill

Dri Dri

The sun was with me during my whole London weekend which was absolutely fantastic and made me scream for lots of ice cream! I tried out two gelato shops in Notting Hill: Dri Dri Gelato and Gelato Mio. Both of them served delicious ice cream but I must admit that the one who also served me one of those Solli-is-in-heaven-moments was Dri Dri Gelato. I had a medium cup with Pink Grapefruit and Green Apple (Granny Smith). The Pink Grapefruit was perfectly sweet, tangy and slightly bitter and the Green Apple was like having a bite of Granny Smith transformed to a gelato…undescribable. Dri Dri Gelato was more of the counterpart of my favourite Gelato bar in Paris, GROM, no doubt I fell in love with their gelato….

At Gelato Mio I had a cup with Pistachio and Kiwi/Banana, great tastes and texture and a perfect way to cool down in the summer heat ;-)

Note for Solli: Get a gelato machine for home and experiment making own ice cream. :)
