DRIVE – A Real Hero

Let’s have a break from all my fashionweek-updates :-) I promise to post the rest of the happenings during the fashionweek soon again! I want to write about a movie I saw two weeks ago called DRIVE with Ryan Gosling. It was one of the best movies I’ve seen for a long time and I recommend you to see it if you already haven’t.

The movie was melancholic, soulful and intensly deep, a 80’s neo noir stylized movie with the great actor, Ryan Gosling, and a great movie favourite songs are “Nightcall” (Kavinsky) and “A Real Hero” (College feat. Electric Youth)..and they’ve been spinning in my head ever since I watched the movie.

The movie was about love…and lost souls. Ryan Gosling played a lost guy who was drifting between life experiences…yet never questioning the reasons on why things became they turned out to. He met a girl, played by Carey Mulligan, and love grew between them. It was an intense love even though the exhange of words between them was sparely. Some things cannot be described with words. This girl, saw through Ryan Goslings charachters real essence of soul and her presence changed his life.

At some points in life it’s difficult and hard to see what we are living for….until an angel, a real hero brightens up our life and gives us something to live for. Those angels are real human beings and those moments are rare but if your path crosses with someone who brightens up your life, keep on to it. Because, nothing lasts forever.

"Can I talk to you? I wont keep you long, I have to go somewhere now, don't think I can come back, I just wanted you to know, just getting to be around you was the best thing that ever happened to me......" quote from the movie DRIVE

Nightcall is nice. It also appears in the movie The Lincoln Lawyer. You might then like I Remember by deadmau5 & Kaskade.
