Carousel of the Belle Epoque

Carousel of the Belle Epoque @ Place de l'Hotel de Ville

It’s been a while with the absence of the carousel that used to be placed at Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, but now it’s back ;-) It’s beautiful, isn’t? There are several carousels like this placed on different spots in Paris, bringing joy to the children and charm to the places they’re placed on. These carousels from the Belle Epoque genre are so Paris for me, simply because they brings magic to this city.

It almost makes you want to ride it… if only it weren’t embarrassing!
