Rynshu AW14 collection was presented at the Westin Hotel in Paris close to Place Vendôme last week during the Men’s Fashion Week. The Japanese fashion brand thrilled me with it’s spiritual tailoring blended with satorial androgyn codes and glam-rock-punk style.
I loved the contrast between the light and dark, the different fabrics such as smooth velour, satins and silks, feminine versus masculine and the elegant and trashy combo. The location for this event couldn’t have been chosen better, the beautiful Westin Hotel with pompous chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and the last song pumping through the loudspeakers during the last part of the catwalk, Editors “Sugar” , was sublime. As promised, here are a few of the photos I took from the show, my backstage photos will be published soon.
