Monsieur Bleu – a trendy and fashionable restaurant in Paris, located in one of the wings of Palais de Tokyo. The restaurant has been designed by the French architecht Joseph Dirand, acctually a former client of mine when I was working with antiques a couple of years ago in Paris. Since I admire his skills within interior design I have, ever since this restaurant opened up it doors, in May 2013, been eager to visit it and curious to see what mr Dirand has created. Not long ago I had a dinner there with friends and before I will share my regular food photos I will let you have a sneaky peak on the interior.
Do you see what I see? Marble! I love marble and you can find it almost everywhere here! Ceilings, floor tiles, backpanel of the banquette….you name it. The beautiful different shades of green such as moss green velvet chairs, the wooden panels on the floor and ceiling high as 9 metres definately adds character to this impeccable designed restaurant breathing chicness together with minimalism. Just in case you forget where you are, the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower is a great reminder ;-)
The co-owners of the restaurant are Gilles Malafosse, Laurent Gourcuff and Benjamin Cassan and the chef de cuisine is Benjamin Masson.
