Cherries are not only delicious and a sweet treat, they are loaded with benefits! They are a rich source of antioxidants and Vitamin A and great for digestion among many other things.
I prefer enjoying cherries au naturel but they do go very well in desserts…such as the typical French one called Clafoutis. I’ve never made one of those myself, but I will very soon…and then I will be adding some cherries for a Clafoutis aux cerises! That will say if I manage not to eat them all up before putting them in the cake ;-)
