Torvehallerne is a high-end food market located next to Nørreport station in the heart of Copenhagen. I often come here on the weekends when I want to buy fresh fish, local and organic vegetables and fruits, organic herbs but also when I have an urge for French specialities such as tasty cheese from the French stand Ma Poule…or when I want to eat fresh Italian pasta at Bottega della Pasta. There is no limit to what you can find in this market. If you’re looking for Danish, French, Italian or even Spanish, Chinese and Japanese specialities this is the place to go to :-) There are also several restaurants and you can also by some dishes from the different stands and enjoy them inside or have a seat on the benches on the square outside enjoying the sun. Torvehallerne boasts two covered markets and one outside when the weather permits it and is definately worth a visit.
This is my food heaven in Copenhagen that I completely <3
