The Amalfi Coast & Il Positano – photo: Ricky
The Amalfi Coast has been on my to-go-list for many years and when I was planning my summer of 2013 vaccation I was choosing between going back to Corsica or discover the Amalfi Coast in Italy. I decided to give Corsica a break for a year and bought myself a trip to the Amalfi Coast instead. So I’m beginning this summer with a week in Paris in June and then a week in Italy in July and I’m already counting the days two both of the destinations!
I have not planned my trip to Italy in detail, but my flight is to Naples (Napoli), from there I will go straight to the area of Massa Lubrense. Have found a beautiful place I have rented with a view over the island of Capri! Can imagine the magical sunsets….. I will be there for a couple of days, visiting an organic lemon farm, discovering the beautiful beaches and hopefully attend a lesson in cooking Italian food :-) If I feel for it I will continue to Capri, will see when I’m there but I will end my trip with two days in Il Positano. Have found a charming place on the hill with a wonderful view over the beautiful village, just like in the photo above. They have an organic farm so I will be having organic breakfasts in the mornings and dinners in the evenings. I guess that’s what this trip is all about, have a little bit of sunshine, eat delicious food and just enjoy the breathtaking magical coastal scenes of the Amalfi Coast.
Have you ever been there? Leave me a comment if you have things to recommend :-)
