New year, new apartment…

Solli's aparment in CopenhagenThe keys to my apartment in Copenhagen

I’m really good in keeping secrets but this one I just can’t keep anymore. As you all know I sold my apartment in Stockholm in Nov/Dec 2012. Two days before my birthday in Dec I went and saw a beautiful attic apartment in the same area where I’ve rented a room for a couple of months in Copenhagen. Luckily it was a snow storm in Copenhagen that day because no one else showed up :-)

It was a very charming apartment in an old building from 1857, with a magnificent view over the rooftops, sunsets and sunrises, quiet and peaceful – no disturbing neighbors, white painted walls and beautiful white-washed wooden floor, a bathroom with a bathtub and washingmachine…and what else…a kitchen with a window facing the courtyard. The location was great too, just a couple of minutes walk to one of the biggest parks in Copenhagen and the lakes, 10 minutes by bike to the city-centre, 10 minutes by bike to the closest beach and great communications by bus, train etc. Couldn’t be better…

On my birthday I offered a bid on the apartment that was accepted by the owner and just a few days later I signed the contract, paid and from January 1st 2013 I could finally move in. The best birthday gift I’ve ever bought to myself :-)

Promise to post some more photos as soon as I’ve unpacked all my boxes…

I suspected as much. =) Contragulations! I wish you the best and a home filled with harmony and joy. Good to see that Mr. Bronze skull has found a place to lay his hat (or it seems that he has misplaced it). =)

    Many hugs from Pato

    Vad kul! Grattis :)
