Finally I’m off to London!
I’ve done a to-do-list and I’m not sure if I will be able to do everything, even though that is my intention. But no problem, I’m sure I would love to visit London again :-)
On Saturday I will visit some antiques-shops (for my secret project) and also visit the Portobello Market. The market starts around 6 in the morning and thats why I’m living strategically close to the market by living in Notting Hill. I will start my day with an electric breakfast at Electric Brasserie. I will try their crumpets, thats for sure…but also their ricotta pancakes with lemon curd and maple syrup….sounds really tasty! (yes…I admit, I have already checked out their menu….)
In the afternoon I will do some sight-seeing around in the city and later I will try a Very Brittish Afternoon Tea at Bumpkins in Notting Hill. Oh, I really hope they have clotted cream! Would love to have that on my scones together with marmelade….mmmmm
On Saturday evening I will go and watch the Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre and on Sunday I will go and visit Louboutins exhibition at the Design Museum and maybe also Damien Hirsts exhibition at Tate Modern.
I will eat at Momo, which is not only a restaurant where they serve divine food…but also a total experience..can’t wait! And a dinner at The Ivy, is also on my list…and I’ve also reserved a table at the Wolseley….this is going to be fun. Three new restaurants for me to discover!
Seems I will eat myself through London, well, partly thats true :-) Hopefully I will also have the time to visit Liberty and oh, Ladurée! Need my dose of macarons!
Wish you a great weekend!
